Our policy is to aid long term seafood sustainability by maximising supplies compliant with the standards and principles of bodies such as The Marine Stewardship Council and the RSPCA approved Freedom Food label. We work closely with Seafish and support their Responsible Fishing Scheme and their long term cause to protect fish supplies for everyone’s benefit.

Our Approved Suppliers are carefully selected and monitored as the most professional and ethically reliable in the industry. Selected suppliers must demonstrate that they operate to the highest quality standards using best practice and full traceability of supplies. Development, long term commitment and continuous improvement must feature strongly in their operations providing a strong competitive edge in their supplier ethos.

Our Policies:-

• We source only from suppliers who can guarantee the freshest available catches.
• We source Cod wholly from the North East Atlantic thereby avoiding putting further
  pressure on the already depleted North Sea fisheries.
• We market only those species on the MCS ‘Fish To Eat’ list.
• We use eco-friendly fish suppliers who favour line caught fishing methods thereby
  targeting only mature fish.
• We do not source fish that has exceeded controlled quota limits.
• We buy fish only from reputable suppliers who can guarantee full product
  traceability to source.
